Chief Marketing Officer
Lisa is the Chief Marketing Officer of BigCommerce. She has 20+ years of experience scaling high-growth companies with a focus on enterprise SaaS. In her multiple executive roles, she's been responsible for setting company vision and strategy, driving business performance through organic growth, global expansion and M&A, and navigating corporate exits.
Since joining BigCommerce, Lisa has been instrumental in executing the company’s strategy to serve merchants at all stages of growth. Her efforts helped revitalize the company’s small business sector, while also penetrating the enterprise market and expanding internationally.
In her multiple executive roles, Lisa has been responsible for setting company vision and strategy; driving business performance through organic growth, global expansion and M&A; and navigating corporate exits.Â
Prior to joining BigCommerce, Lisa served as Chief Executive Officer at Umbel. She also spent more than four years serving in a variety of executive leadership positions at Bazaarvoice, where she was a key member of the team that took the company public. Additionally, Lisa spent 15 years in NYC in a variety of marketing roles working with industry-leading global brands like Procter & Gamble, American Express, Johnson & Johnson and others.
Lisa has a passion and proclivity for building diverse, high-performing teams including overachieving sales and client service teams, agile product and engineering organizations and strategic marketing functions. She is active in diversity, equity and inclusion efforts — within BigCommerce and beyond — and is an in-demand speaker on the revenue impact of diverse workplaces. She has been an advisor and board member at several companies.
Lisa holds a degree in Literature from Tulane University. She lives in Austin with her two children.
